Record what you did

Log the insulin you actually took so you can look back later and see how it went. BloodSugarPilot never suggests a dose — that comes from you and your diabetes team.

    Units & targets

    Glucose units
Australia and the UK use mmol/L. Match whatever your Libre shows.
Defaults follow the commonly used adult targets (4–10 mmol/L in range, hypo below 4). Your own targets may differ — use the ones your diabetes team gave you.

    Important

! BloodSugarPilot does not give medical advice and never suggests insulin doses. It counts carbohydrate, records your readings and shows you your own history. Every dosing decision stays between you and your diabetes team. Carbohydrate values are estimates — check the packaging on anything you eat regularly. Always confirm a low or a suspicious reading with a finger prick before acting.
    Where the numbers come from

Carb values are typical published figures for common foods, per 100 g and per usual serve. Brands vary a lot — edit any food, or add your own from the packet, and yours is used from then on.

Trend projection is straight arithmetic: the rate band your sensor's arrow represents, multiplied by your projection window. A flat arrow projects no change. It assumes nothing else changes, which is rarely true, so treat it as a rough heading, not a forecast.

In-range percentage counts only the readings you entered here, so it is not the same as your sensor's own time-in-range, which samples continuously.
